United States Flag Gold hill is a beautiful town located by the shores of the Rogue River  in Jackson County, Oregon. Gold Hill can be found off of I-5 between  Grants Pass and Medford. This town was founded in the early 1800's  by miners looking to make it rich shortly after a large gold nugget was found.
