Where is Hollywood Located?

Who hasn’t heard of Hollywood? When we hear the name "Hollywood" or the name of a movie star, we think of movies and a glamorous life. Hollywood is a place where many people go to fulfill a dream; a dream to make it big in the acting or music business.

Hollywood started just like any other place on earth; isolated. Then, in 1853 a small hut stood not knowing this was going to be one of the most famous places on earth thanks to people like H. J. Whitley known as "The Father of Hollywood" who bought a 500 ranch at a later date.

The city of Hollywood attracts millions of people every year to visit all is major attractions, surroundings, and maybe with the hope to run into one of their favorite stars.

Hollywood is located northwest of downtown Los Angeles, California and it is the only city in Los Angeles that has defined boundaries and according to Wikipedia "The border can be loosely described as the area east of West Hollywood, south of Mulholland Drive, Laurel Canyon, Cahuenga Boulevard, and Barham Boulevard, and the cities of Burbank and Glendale, north of Melrose Avenue and west of the Golden State Freeway and Hyperion Avenue. This includes all of Griffith Park and Los Feliz."

Mi Pueblo Natal has written just a little about this great city so you can get a vacation idea and make plans to discover this great place.
