Sacramento Railroad Museum - Old Town Sacramento

Sacramento Railroad Museum - Old Town Sacramento

The pictures above are from the Railroad Museum in old town Sacramento and they where taken during labor day weekend (September 2009). The pictures, as you can see, are dark but they give you an idea of what's inside the museum.

This is was my second visit to the Sacramento Train museum and I feel like I need to return so I can absorb all the information the museum offers.

One of the highlights for me is to see the huge black locomotive with number 4294. Out of about 500 of them, it is the only one left in the word but what amazes me the most is the color and how big it is! Every time I look at it, I feel I am watching a horror film!

The railroad museum is a place to visit if you ever find yourself in Sacramento. Don't miss it.
