Prattville is a city located in Alabama. This city covers a total area of 23.9 square miles and it is part of Autauga and Elmore counties; it is nicknamed "The Fountain City" due to the many "artesian wells" in the area. The US Census Bureau estimated in 2006 that the population was at 31,119. Prattville is the county seat of Autauga County.
